What is the crust?
The crust is the first layer of the Earth and can range from 5-50km in thickness.
What is the mantle?
The mantle is the second layer for the earth and is made of magnesium, aluminum, silicon, and oxygen silicates. The mantle is the mostly solid bulk part of Earth’s interior. The mantle lies between Earth’s dense, super-heated core and its thin outer layer, the crust. The mantle is about 2,900 kilometers thick.
What is the outer core
The outer core is the third layer of the Earth and is made of liquid, it is about 2092 km thick. Both the inner and outer cores consist primarily of iron and nickel and are extremely hot with temperatures ranging from 4000–5000℃.
What is the inner core?
The inner core is the most central point of earth. It has several unique properties that help distinguish it from the other layers. It is also made of nickel and iron but it is solid.
