Larnx + Breast Supply +Drainage Flashcards
What are the two MOTOR innervations for nerve supply of larynx
- all intrinsic muscles of larynx = recurrent laryngeal nerve - branches of CNX
- Cricothyroid= external laryngeal.. Branch of superior laryngeal vein..branch of CNX
What are sensory innervations for nerve supply of larynx
- Internal laryngeal nerve: branch of superior laryngeal nerve..branch of CNX (for superior part of larynx)
- Recurent laryngeal nerve (for inferior part of the larynx)
What are the two arterial blood supplies to larynx
- Superior laryngeal artery: (a branch of superior thyroid which is a branch of external caratoid artery)
- Inferior laryngeal artery- (a branch of inferior thyroid which is a branch of thyrocervical trunk which is a branch of subclavian artery)
What is the venous drainage of the larynx
- Superior laryngeal nein which drains into the superior thyroid vein which grains into internal jugular vein
- Inferior layngeal vein which drains into inferior thyroid vein which drains into the left bronchoceephellic vein
What is the lymphatic drainage of the larynx
- Superior to vocal chords = superior deep cervical lymph nodes
- Inferior to the vocal chords= inferior deep cervical lymph nodes
What is the arterial blood supply of breast
Internal thoracic artery
Blanche’s of axillary artery
Branches of inter coastal arterjes
What is the venous drainage or breast
Axillary vein
Inter thoracic veins
What innervates the diaphragm
Phrenic nerve C3 C4 C5
What are the arterial blood supplies of diaphragm
Internal thoracic, thoracic aorta and abdominal aorta
What is the venous drainage of diaphram
Drain into bronchocephelic azygous system and abdominal veins
What are the 3 holes in diaphragm starting from top
Canal hiatus
Oesophageous hiatus
Aortic hiatus
What level of vertebrae is
Canal hiatus
Oesophagal hiatus
Arortic hiatus
T8
T10
T12
What comes out of
1.caval hiatus
2.oesophageal hiatus
3. Aortic hiatus
- Inferior vana cava
- Oesophagus, vagus nerves
- Descendint aorta, thoracic duct etc.
What are the 4 abductors of vocal chords
Interior cricothyroid
Lateral cricothyroid
Oblique aretenoid
Transverse artenoid
Where is most of lymphatic drainage
What about rest
Axillary lymph nodes
Abdominal lymph nodes
