PEMDAS (parenthesis, exponents, multiply and dived, and add and subtract) when multiplying or dividing, adding or subtracting you go left to right.

Math properties

Commutative: can switch numbers order and answer will be the same. (Ex: 2+3=3+2)
Associative: order in which numbers added or multiplied does not matter Only works for addition and Multiplying. (Ex: 2x(5x2)=(2x5)x2 or 2+(3+4)= (2+3)+4.
Identity: Multiplicative- when any number is multiplied by one the product Is the number you started with.
Multiplicative property of Zero: when a number multiplied by Zero = Zero (ex: 100,000x0=0)
