- An experiment conducted by Milgram to test obedient to authority, even when one is aware they are harming others most with continue if constructed to do so by an authority figure
His study revealed that ordinary people do shocking things, such as the Nazis in Germany

Basically people have the tendency to blindly obey authority figures

Watergate Scandal
RIchard Nixon’s administration went to extreme members to stop anyone that could prevent him from getting reelected. THey eaves dropped and broke into Democratic National Committee headquarters. Nixon did not plan the scandal, but he still was charged because he knew about it.
Native American Population:
In the begining of the new world to when spain was leaving, the native american population decreased significantly. They found the use of african slave labor instead of native american slave labor.
Shay’s Rebellion vs. Whiskey Rebellion
: Shay’s rebellion happened while the US was under the articles of confederation. It left the federal government powerless, as citizens rampaged over monetary issues. The Whiskey rebellion happened much later, under the US COnstitution. The federal government had more power and was able to squash this rebellion.
