RIchard Nixon’s administration went to extreme members to stop anyone that could prevent him from getting reelected. THey eaves dropped and broke into Democratic National Committee headquarters. Nixon did not plan the scandal, but he still was charged because he knew about it.

Shay’s Rebellion vs. Whiskey Rebellion

A

: Shay’s rebellion happened while the US was under the articles of confederation. It left the federal government powerless, as citizens rampaged over monetary issues. The Whiskey rebellion happened much later, under the US COnstitution. The federal government had more power and was able to squash this rebellion.
