16
Q

What will be the indications on the captains panel for loss of hydraulic system 4, 1 and 2?

A

Brake source light illuminates.

17
Q

State how the anti skid system works (normal and alternate).

A

Normal: all main wheels are provided with anti skid system.

Alternate: lateral wheel pairs are provided with anti skid instead of individual wheels.

18
Q

How is the landing gear truck prevented from damage during braking?

A

Brake torque limiter detects excessive torque during braking to prevent damage to landing gear. Signal is sent to the anti skid valve to release brake pressure to that wheel.

19
Q

Describe the conditions for auto rake RTO application during a rejected take off.

A
  • Groundspeed above 85KT.
  • thrust levers closed.
  • Maximum braking
20
Q

Describe the conditions for autobrake application on landing.

A
  • Thrust levers closed.
  • Ground mode sensed.
  • Wheels spun up.
  • Brake until full stop.
21
Q

How is the parking brake set when no hydraulic systems are pressurised?

A

Brake Accumulator.

22
Q

What indications are displayed on the gear synoptic?

A
  • Brake temp
  • Gear door position
  • Tilt
  • Antiskid
  • Limiter
  • Tire Pressure
