Symbolises Abbas omen so could foreshadow Duncan’s death or even Lady Macbeths herself as the Noun ‘Raven’ connotative darkness, death and mystery. This makes the audience feel intrigued but somewhat uneasy

This show lady macbeths manipulative and has the power to control people as it is allusion to the bible verse where eve, being lady Macbeth, persuades Adam, being Macbeth, to eat the apple , being killing Duncan.
Lady Macbeth gender subversion
At the start lady Macbeth is seen as strong and Macbeth as weak but towards the end of the play Shakespeare switches them back so lady Macbeth is seen as weak and Macbeth as strong
“Leave the rest to me”
This Is this final line of the scene which not only leaves the audience in suspense at how the murder will be carried out, but also encapsulates Lady Macbeth personality of control in a sentence and she leaves on a note of power the audience can remember
