During rescue operations hose lines are placed between?
the fire and the victims

- allow coverage of 2 sides of the building

When removing pts from a fire escape or balcony
the tip of the ladder should be 6ft above the railing on the side that is least exposed to the fire
Ground ladders should not be overloaded
