Ba swallow
Barium is taken in through the mouth and X-rays are taken of the esophagus, stomach and small bowel
CT scan

Feces are placed on a paper containing a chemical which reacts with hidden (occult) blood. Screening test for colon cancers.

Magnetic and radio waves create images of organs in the body in all three planes of the body
Stool culture
Samples are placed in a growth medium (culture) to test for bacteria
U.S. (Ultrasound)
Sound waves are beamed into organs and produce images of the organs
BE (barium enema)
Barium is injected to the anus and rectum and X-ray images are taken.
