Gymnosperms and Angiosperms are
Vascular plants with true stems, roots, and leaves that belong to seed plants
Gymnosperms
Seed-bearing vascular plants that do not produce flowers or fruits; not enclosed in an ovary like angiosperms; divided into Cyad, ginkgo, pine, ephedra
Angiosperms
Most diverse group of land plants; enclosed in ovules within the ovary; produce flowers that become fruits; double fertilization
Endosperm
Tissue that provides food for the embryo, seed leaves, and seedling when it first appears
Monocots
One cotyledon/seed lead inside the coat , parallel veins, scattered vascular tissue, root system fibrous, one pollen opening, floral organs in multiples of three
Dicots
Two cotyledons, veins are netlike, vascular tissue arranged in ring, taproot usually present, pollen grain with three openings, floral organs in multiples of 5
