What are the steps of acid fast

A
  1. Use aseptic tech, prepare a slide of mycobacterium smagmeatis mixed with a loop full of s. Aureus
  2. Air dry then heat fix
  3. During air dying we prepare the hot water bath
  4. After the heat fix we place the steam
  5. Floors the slide with carbon cushion for 5 min. We also dont allow the stain to evaporate
  6. Remove the slide from the beaker and place it on the staining tray
    7 cool and gently wash the slide with water
    8 drip acid alcohol on the slide until no more color drain from the smear
    9 wash gently with water
    10 counter stain with methylene blue for 2 min
    11 gently was with water and dry
