LAB 1: intro Flashcards
What is on the X axis on the graphical user interface? what is on the y axis?
X axis: time
Y axis: measured parameter (V, grams, rate, ect…)
What happens when you increase the duration of the pulse? What happens when you increase the voltage?
The duration increase corresponds with a period increase. The voltage increase corresponds with an amplitude increase
What happens when you increase the delay of the stimulator? what about the frequency?
Delay increase increases the time of onset of the wave. the frequency increases the frequency of the stimulus.
What does the mean tool do?
Gives the overall average of recorded values in the highlighted range
What does the mean tool do?
Gives the overall average of recorded values in the highlighted range
What does the time tool do? How about delta T?
It gives the exact time of a point. Delta T gives the difference between times in a highlighted range.
How do you get the heart rate (freq or BPM) for multiple beats in the GUI?
Highlight the number of waveforms you want, and multiply the given rate output by the number of waves highlighted.
What is the difference between P-P and detla?
P-P: gives difference between lowest and highest points
delta: gives the difference between the Y values of the highlighted range
