What are the 7 stages of shoulder pain following a stroke
A
- Constant, severe arm and shoulder pain in more than just the shoulder
- Intermittent, severe arm and shoulder pain in more than just the shoulder
- Constant shoulder pain in just the shoulder
- Intermittent shoulder pain in just the shoulder
- Shoulder pain is noted during testing, but the functional activities that the client normally performs are not affected by the pain
- No shoulder pain, but at least one prognostic indicator is present (arm is in low stage of recovery (stage 1 or 2), scapula is malaligned, loss of shoulder ROM (flexion/abduction less than 90 or ER less than 60)).
- Shoulder pain and prognostic indicators are absent
