Did you notice that the temperature is 38,2 (with a comma) and not 38.2 (with a period)? In French-speaking countries, wherever you would use a period, they use a comma and vice versa. So, for example, if you’re talking about 15,500 euros, you would write it 15.500 euros; or 30.5% of the population would be 30,5% de la population.
