Q

What do you need to know before administering LA?

A

Which tooth/area-nerve supply, nearby structures,

where to administer for best outcome- nerve pathways, bone quality

vital structures nearby- blood vessels, other vessels

bony/dental soft tissue landmarks- high variability in soft tissue anatomy
