We should be developing supplies of renewable energy because it is not only more sustainable (meaning that it will not be detrimental to future generations) but it is also more efficient and shouldn’t run out. It is also more economically sustainable in the long term.

What can you do at home to save energy?

• Turn off lights you don’t need
• Turn off appliances you aren’t using
• Use a lower water temperature
• Fill up the washing machine/dishwasher before putting it on (and use eco setting)
