This platform of interactive media refers to pools, surveys, exams, exercises
Interactive websites
This platform of interactive media refers to the computer-generated simulation of a three-dimensional image or environment that can be interacted with in a seemingly real or physical way by a person using special electronic equipment, such as a helmet with a screen inside or gloves fitted with sensors
Virtual reality and immersive environments
This platform of interactive media refers to websites or online services where users (actual people) are the creators and consumers of the content, and where social interactions (commenting, liking, posting, talking) are the main features of content. Examples are Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Vine, etc.
Social media
It refers to the communication process that takes place between humans and computer software.

Videos
What are the types of interactivity?
Hotspot
Rollover
Tabs
Timeline
Numbers/processes
Slideshow
Flipcards
This type of interactivity refers to a special region to act as a trigger to another web page. The hotspot could be a circle, triangle, rectangle or polygon.
Hotspot
This type of interactivity refers to an image or portion of an image that changes in appearance when the mouse cursor moves over it.
Rollover
This type of interactivity works by clicking on them, displaying a relevant content with an appropriate graphic.
Tabs
This type of interactivity refers to a menu slide that branches to different events.
Timeline
This type of interactivity refers to the number of clicks and the time spent in an interactive function provide data points.
Numbers/processes
This type of interactivity refers to non-linear interactive slideshow where the pathway through the show is determined by the user’s interaction with it.
Slideshow
This type of interactivity refers to a card that when clicked flips to display a description and other information.
Flipcards
This refers to the field concerned with the computer-controlled integration of text, graphics, drawings, still and moving images (Video), animation, audio, and any other media where every type of information can be represented, stored, transmitted and processed digitally.

Non-linear
What are the advantages of multimedia?
It is very user-friendly.You can read the text and hear the audio.
It is multi sensorial. It uses a lot of multimedia, for example hearing, seeing and talking.
It is integrated and interactive. All the different mediums are integrated through the digitization process. Interactivity is heightened by the possibility of easy feedback.
It is flexible. Being digital, this media can easily be changed to fit different situations and audiences
It can be used for a wide variety of audiences, ranging from one person to a whole group.
What are the disadvantages of multimedia?
Information overload. Because it is so easy to use, it can contain too much information at once.
It takes time to compile.Even though it is flexible, it takes time to putnthe original draft together.
It can be expensive. Multimedia makes use of a wide range of resources, which can cost a large amount of money.
Too much makes it unpractical. Large files like video and audio has an effect of the time it takes for your presentation to load. Adding too much can mean that you have to use a larger computer to store the files.
It refers to a text which contains links to other texts. The term was invented by Ted Nelson around 1965.
Hypertext
It is not constrained to be text-based. It can include other media, e.g., graphics, images, and especially the continuous media sound and video.
