complicated Bereavement (depression)
- After the loss of a loved one, there is a normal grief reaction that occurs with other losses such as: loss of a body part, younger people, with a miscarriage or abortion.
- A normal grief reaction must be distinguished from a complicated grief reaction, which is often pathologic.
