New research criteria for AD diagnosis

A
  • episodic memory impairment + 1 or more of the following:
  • medial temporal lobe atrophy (MRI)
  • abnormal CSG biomarkers (abeta low, tau high, p-tau high)
  • abnormal glucose metabolism (FDG PET) or evidence of amyloid (PIB PET)
  • autosomal dominant mutation in immediate family
