what is a brief format of the assessment
A
- listen (history and background)
- look (observation)
- test (individual structures, ROM & strength)
- record (an accurate accound of findings)
- assess (remember to involve in the patient)

what is the aim of an objective assessment
A
- reproduce all or parts of the patients symptoms
- determine the pattern, quality, range, resistance and pain response for each movement
- identify factors that have predisposed or arisen from the disorder
- obtain signs on which to reassess the effectiveness of treatment

A
- formulate a problem list in agreement with the patient
- agree and record SMART goals
