The second part is called Musnad Ilayh/Muhkam Alayh and is termed Faa’il.

  1. Amr (Imperative) - اِضْرِبْ (Hit!)
  2. Nahy (Prohibition) - لا تَضْرِبْ (Do not hit!)
  3. Istifhaam (Questioning) - هَلْ ضَرَبَ زَيْدٌ؟
    (Did Zayd hit?)
  4. Tamanni (Wish) - لَيْتَ زَيْدًا حاضِرٌ (Wishing
    Zayd was present) - impossible
  5. Tarajji (Hope) - لَعَلَّ زَيْدًا غائِبٌ (Hoping
    Zayd was absent) - possible
  6. Uqood (Contracts) - بِعْتُ (I sold), اِشْتَرَيْتُ
    (I bought)
  7. Nidaa (Proclamation) - يا اللهُ (O Allah!)
  8. ‘Ard (Request) - اَلا تَنْزِلُ بِنا فَتُصِيْبَ خَيْرًا؟
    (Why do you not visit us as you will
    receive good?)
  9. Qasam (Oath) - وَاللهِ لَاَضْرِبَنَّ زَيْدًا (By Allah,
    I will surely hit Zayd!)
  10. Ta’ajjub (Surprise) - اَحْسِنْ بِه، ما اَحْسَنَه
    (How good!)
