Q

Relationships of Superior Duodenum (D?)

A

Superior Duodenum (D1)

1st 2cm has mesentery: duodenal cap: retroperitoneal thereafter

Anterolateral to L1 body, gastroduodenal artery, bile duct, portal vein

Lies posterior to gallbladder & quadrate lobe of liver.
