What is a dormitory settlement?
Dormitory settlements are settlements where a lot of the habitants have to commute some distance to the city where they work.

The opposite of urbanisation, people moving to the rural areas from the city.
How does the population of rural areas change due to interdependence?
Population increases, population gets wealthier.
What are the impacts of interdependence on London?
More traffic and congestion on radial routes into the city from rural areas, public transport is more packed and more demand for railway services.
