A
It provides a generic approach to care for the dying
- A review of the LCP should be replaced with and end of life care plan for each patient
Abuse of the pathway could happen

- Would you be surprised is the patient died in the next few months/weeks/days
- General indicators of decline (increasing need or choice for no further active care)
