An animal (non-human) that transmits pathogen from one host to another
Mechanical vector
The transmitter is not necessary to the life cycle of the pathogen, just transports it
Biological vector
Transmitter is Necessary to the life cycle of the pathogen
Zoonosis
Infection that is normally found in an animal population (non human)
But transmittable to humans
Ex. Rabies

H2O
Soil
Fomite
