Shizen no Kamae.
Natural stance - stand relaxed, feet shoulder width apart and parallel. Knees unlocked, weight slightly on the balls of your feet

Fudoza no Kamae.
Immovable seat - sitting on your left leg with the right folded in front if you.
Seiza no Kamae
Correct seat - traditional Japanese kneeling posture.
Ichimonji no Kamae
Straight line - one leg forward, weight on back, back foot at 90 degrees from the front. Front leg slightly bent. Front hand in shuto and rear in high guard near face or heart.
Jumonji no Kamae.
Cross shape - legs as ichimonji, crossed hands at chest, boshi ken fists. Shallow stance with forward aggression.
Hira Ichimonji no Kamae.
As before with arms out sideways at shoulder hight. Hands in Happa Ken. Widened stance with bent knees.
Hicho no Kamae.
Flying bird - ichimonji with front foot resting on bent back knee.
Doko no Kamae.
Angry tiger - Ichimonji with rear hand raised in Fudo Ken at ear level or above head.
Hoko no Kamae.
Encircling - Jumonji with hands higher and arms at 90 degrees.
Kosei no Kamae.
Attack - ichimonji front hand raised to shield eyes rear hand in Fudo Ken by hip.
Kokoro gamae.
