- Bhakti Yoga = means to serve. In Bhakti Yoga we serve the divine being, which is the ultimate source of help and guidance.

- Jnana Yoga = Jnana means knowledge. Underlying assumption is that all knowledge lies within us.

- Mantra Yoga = manta is given to student by teacher, at the time when the teacher knows exactly what the student needs. The mantra receives it’s power by the way it is given and practiced.

- Raja Yoga = raja yoga refers to the kind of yoga where the king takes it right place.

- Karma Yoga = karma is action. We must involve ourselves through action, but leave the rest to God and expect nothing.

What are Krishnamchara’s Paths to Yoga?
A
- Kriya Yoga = three aspects that define Kriya Yoga: tapas, Svadhaya, and isvarapranidhana. Tapas are practiced with asana and pranayama that can help us remove blocks and tension both physical and mental. Svadhaya means searching, asking questions looking into ourselves. Isvarapranidhana means surrender. When these 3 practices are linked together in our practice, we are on the Kriya yoga path.
