North : Small scale Guerrilla attacks, Asked for Stalin’s help
South: Persecuted communists ,general hatred of communism
Both : Claimed they wanted to re-unite Korea under their rule

Dealt with Taiwan instead of communist China - China couldn’t veto involvement. USSR didn’t show due to this - Couldn’t veto

To show Zedong he is the best communist
