- Helps with excess and deficiency

How long do you typically keep a retained cup on for?
5-20 min.
Indications for Momentary cups
Draws local congestion to the surface
Good for internal pathologies
Good for deficient patients
MOST GENTLE
Raised rough, red skin after cupping indicates
Excess heat
Dosage guidelines for Kyakuku
Def: 2-3 cups, light suction, 20 sec.-2 min.
Normal: 5-7 cups, med. suction, 3-5 min.
Excess: 7-10 cups, strong suction, 5-20 min.

Use lower range recommended dosage parameters and spread treatment out over several

Use upper range recommended dosages, feel for reduction of tension or a less wiry pulse
C/I
Prego areas: ab, sacrum, c/i points

extreme fatigue, anemia

Signs of over treatment
sudden: pallor, dizziness, nausea, cold sweat, cold lime, discomfort, thin/rapid pulse
