Why do people go on pilgrimage?
To get a closer relationship with God, feel closer to God and and going on a pilgrimage helps us towards heaven.

Why is it important to go to Jerusalem?
Because it is the city of Israel where Jesus died, and they might also visit the tomb of where he lay.

To share in Jesus’s life and suffering, and to renew their faith and commitment to Jesus.

Cause it’s the centre of Catholic faith. And it is where Saint Peter died and where the current pope lives.

To show their commitment to the Catholic Church and their unity with the pope and all catholic.

Cause there’s a town in France by a young girl called Bernadette saw visions of Mary.
Why is Lourdes important for Catholics to visit?
Should be healed physically or spiritually by the waters, and to feel stronger and more at peace and body and mind.
