A call from God for a particular role in life

A priests life is based around showing generosity and serving others (e.g visiting the sick)

- Parents teach their children Kingdom Values - therefore spreading the Kingdom of God
- Love also unites a family
How are the Kingdom Values shown in religious life (monks and nuns)?
The lives of monks and nuns are centered around giving a sense of peace
What is a Catholic teaching that proves God loves all people?
God made everyone in the ‘image of God’
What is the catholic social teaching?
The idea that God loves all people so therefore catholics must help all people even the weakest and poorest

A society founded by a group of catholic students who wanted to put their faith into action and were inspired by St Vincent de Paul

It is the centre of the catholic faith where St Peter died and catholics may pilgrimage here to show their commitment to the catholic church and their unity with the Pope

It means the teaching CANNOT be wrong

What is the main teaching from Dei Verbum?
That some parts of the Bible should not be taken literally (e.g The Genesis stories)

It teaches that all members of the catholic church have important roles to play, not just the Pope

A characteristic or quality that is particular to the catholic church

A minority of christians believe the magnificat encourages people to rebel against the government
