1. 4th may 1547 thomas seymour married katherine parr
2. 10th september 1547 battle of pinkie - english victory over the scots -es hoped to make alliance so betrothement between evi and mary q of s could go ahead
3. 16t jan 1549 thomas seymour was arrested for plotting to marry princess elizabeth and abduct king edward
4. introduced the first book of common prayer- imposed by an act of uniformity in 1549 - stirred up the western rebellion
repealed hviii’s heresy laws: made it treason to attack the kings leadership of the church
