Feudalism
The system of land ownership where rulers,Kings divided their land among their followers in return for loyalty and taxes .
Peasants
A person who is a member of a low social class of farm workers and owners of small farms. They typically have low incomes, little education, and low social status. The term is often used to refer to people who live in rural areas and work in agriculture.
Oath Of Chivalry
a code of conduct for knights, which often included vows or promises. These could be personal pledges or formal oaths sworn before a religious figure or a lord.
Fallow
When land that is left unseeded after being plowed and harrowed to regain fertility for a crop. It is a common agricultural practice to prevent soil depletion and improve soil quality.
Commons
Used for grazing the animals the peasants owned.
Tithe
it was a tax levied by the Church, typically amounting to one-tenth of a person’s income or produce. It was a significant source of revenue for the Church, used to support clergy, build churches, and fund charitable works.
Charter
A formal document granting special rights or privileges, often issued by a king or queen.
Guild
An organisation Of skilled people with the same trade/group
