A person who moves from a country, including a change of residence, to improve job opportunities or standard of life eg. In 2009, 500,000 Eastern European workers moved to UK

Money sent home by migrants to families and friends between countries eg. Philippines
Refugee
A person who has moved out of their home country because of genuine fear of death or persecution.
Asylum seekers
A person who seeks entry to another country by coming to be a refugee
