What does physical activity mean?
Physical activity is moving a part of you body while using little energy. It doesn’t provide the health benefits of activities that require more energy.
What does exercise mean?
Exercise is physical activities that are planned that aim to maintain or improve the components of physical health
How many types and what are the components of physical health?
4 types
aerobic - increases you breathing and heart rate
balance - helps prevent falling and increases stability
strength - increasing strength in muscles that allows us to do daily tasks
flexibility - helps stretch muscles to increase range of motion
Physical fitness vs motor fitness
physical - doing physical thing but not getting tired
motor - how well you do the task
anaerobic vs. aerobic
aerobic - activity that requires a long time and uses more oxygen
anaerobic - more intense but short and uses less oxygen
