Wayne Couzens may have targeted Sarah as he felt authoritarian as a man in a patriarchy. Sarah obeyed his orders due to his perceived strength of authority.

Men= In-group
Women= Outgroup
Social comparison: to raise their own self-esteem men abuse their authority by harming women.
How can realistic conflict theory negate the social key Q?
Incel movement:
If women are a limited resource instead of an out-group why would this make them hate them?
Realistic conflict theory can’t explain this.
How does individual differences negate the social key Q?
No gender differences in obedience!
