computer-based mapping software that collect, store and analyse previously unrelated information and display this information as easily-understood maps.
Remote Sensing
obtains info about the Earth’s surface without being in contact with it, this involves data collected above the Earths surface including data collected from space or by and aircraft, satellite images, and aerial photographs.
