Kathi vesham represents villanous characters. It has the same facial features as pacha vesham but with a red upturned msutache framed by rice past, red patterns above the eyes and eyebrows and white bulbous protrusions on the nose and forehead. e.g. duryothana, ravana
Vella thadi vesham - white beards that represents higher, sivine characters e.g. hanuman, sages
Thadi vesham portrays one inner natur and behavioud deppending on the colour and style of the thadi
chevanna thadi vesham - red beard for evil vilain. they have large noses and forehead protrusions bigger tam kathi characters and wear a huge crown.
Karutha thadi vesham - black beard with same features as chevanna thadi vesham for evil character and flower appears on nose. e.g. sakuni
kari vesham is for evil and cruel characters. It is split into 2 categories aankari makeup for male characters and penkari makeup for female characters
chenmangalam and ella talam are used metallophones, chenda, maddalam, edakka as membranophones.
minnuku vesham is used for female gentale charcters and sages. The makeup consists offa warm yellow base makeup with glitter.
