There called grykes, the slabs of rocks are called Clint’s.

What does carbonation cause?
A
It causes the rock to dissolve. little material is left on the surface to form soil so it appears as bare as rock. The landscape can look very barren and is known as a limestone.

What happens sometimes when the gryte passes?
A
Sometimes the gryte will pass and get bigger a and a swallow hole will be made. This lets water flow underground.
