-concordance rate (presence of the same trait in both twins) -54% of monozygotic were in the same category of alcohol compared to28% of dizygotic

Strengths- supported that hereditary factors being involved of alcohol addiction
Weakness- only uses males from Sweden
-demand characteristics
-only focused on alcohol abuse
-higher concordance rates with monozygotic twins because of nurture, twins may be treated in a similar nature
