State the pros and cons of intensive and free-range farming
A
Free range is more ethical. Intensive requires less land and less care. Intensive is more cost effective. Free range can have a higher price for produce. Free range animals have a higher quality of life.

Give the four examples of behavioural indicators of poor animal welfare
A
Stereotypy (repetitive movement), misdirected behaviour, failure of sexual/parental behaviour, altered activity (apathy vs. hysteria)
