خَلَوْا۟
those who have passed
مَّقْدُورًا
destined
قَدَرًۭا
decree
بُكْرَةًۭ وَأَصِيلًا
morning and evening
تَحِيَّتُهُمْ
their greeting
أَذَىٰهُمْ
their harm
وَسَرِّحُوهُنَّ
release them
أَفَآءَ
granted
تُرْجِى
defer
وَتُـْٔوِىٓ
you may take
عَزَلْتَ
you have set aside
رَّقِيبًۭا
Watchful
غَيْرَ نَـٰظِرِينَ
without awaiting
إِنَىٰهُ
its preparation
فَٱنتَشِرُوا۟
then disperse
مُسْتَـْٔنِسِينَ
seek to remain
فَيَسْتَحْىِ
he is shy
تُبْدُوا۟
reveal
يُدْنِينَ
draw
جَلَـٰبِيبِهِنَّ ۚ
their outer garments, cloaks
وَٱلْمُرْجِفُونَ
those who spread rumours
لَنُغْرِيَنَّكَ
We will let you overpower them
لَا يُجَاوِرُونَكَ
not be your neighbours
مَّلْعُونِينَ ۖ
accursed
ثُقِفُوٓا۟
are found
يُدْرِيكَ
will make you know
سَعِيرًا
blaze
تُقَلَّبُ
be turned about
سَادَتَنَا
our chiefs, leaders
كُبَرَآءَنَا
our elders
ءَاذَوْا۟
abused, accused
فَبَرَّأَهُ
cleared him
وَجِيهًۭا
honourable
سَدِيدًۭا
right
يُصْلِحْ
He will amend/rectify
ٱلْأَمَانَةَ
the trust
فَأَبَيْنَ
they refused
وَأَشْفَقْنَ
they feared
ظَلُومًۭا
unjust, wrongful
جَهُولًۭا
ignorant
يَلِجُ
penetrates, goes in
يَعْرُجُ
ascends
عَـٰلِمِ
the knower
يَعْزُبُ
escapes
مِثْقَالُ ذَرَّةٍۢ
weight of an atom
أَصْغَرُ
smaller
سَعَوْ
strive
مُعَـٰجِزِينَ
cause failure, discredit
رِّجْزٍ
foul nature, agonising
ٱلْعَزِيزِ
The Almighty
مُزِّقْتُمْ
you have disintegrated
كُلَّ مُمَزَّقٍ
total disintegration
جِنَّةٌۢ ۗ
madness
وَٱلضَّلَـٰلِ
error
نَخْسِفْ
cause to swallow
نُسْقِطْ
cause to fall
كِسَفًۭا
fragments, pieces
مُّنِيبٍۢ
one who turns to Allah
أَوِّبِى
echo
وَأَلَنَّا
We made mouldable, soft
ٱلْحَدِيدَ
iron
سَـٰبِغَـٰتٍۢ
coats of mail, full-length armour
وَقَدِّرْ
measure
ٱلسَّرْدِ ۖ
the links
ٱلرِّيحَ
the wind
غُدُوُّهَا
its morning course
وَرَوَاحُهَا
its afternoon course
وَأَسَلْنَا
We caused to flow
عَيْنَ ٱلْقِطْرِ ۖ
spring of molten copper
يَزِغْ
deviated
مَّحَـٰرِيبَ
elevated chambers
وَتَمَـٰثِيلَ
statues
وَجِفَانٍۢ
basins/bowls
كَٱلْجَوَابِ
reserviors
وَقُدُورٍۢ
cooking pots
رَّاسِيَـٰتٍ ۚ
fixed
مِنسَأَتَهُۥ ۖ
his staff
خَرَّ
he fell down
تَبَيَّنَتِ
became clear
مَا لَبِثُوا۟
not remained
ٱلْمُهِينِ
humiliating
سَيْلَ ٱلْعَرِمِ
flood of the dam
ذَوَاتَىْ أُكُلٍ
producing fruit
خَمْطٍۢ
bitter
وَأَثْلٍۢ
tamarisks/fruitless bushes
سِدْرٍۢ
lote trees/thorny trees
ظَـٰهِرَةًۭ
visible
وَقَدَّرْنَا
We determined
زَعَمْتُم
you claim
ظَهِيرٍۢ
helper
فُزِّعَ
fear is removed/relieved
ٱلْعَلِىُّ
The Most High
أَجْرَمْنَا
our sins
أَلْحَقْتُم
you have joined
مِّيعَادُ
appointment
تَسْتَـْٔخِرُونَ
postpone/delay
تَسْتَقْدِمُونَ
advance,
ٱسْتُضْعِفُوا۟
those who were oppressed
صَدَدْنَـٰكُمْ
avert you
أَندَادًۭا ۚ
equals
وَأَسَرُّوا۟
they will conceal
ٱلنَّدَامَةَ
the regret
ٱلْأَغْلَـٰلَ
shackles
مُتْرَفُوهَآ
its affluent, elite
مُعَذَّبِينَ
be punished
تُقَرِّبُكُمْ
bring you close
زُلْفَىٰٓ
in position
ٱلضِّعْفِ
multiplied
ٱلْغُرُفَـٰتِ
elevated mansions/high-dwellings
يُخْلِفُهُۥ ۖ
will compensate it
إِفْكٌۭ
lie
سِحْرٌۭ
magic
يَدْرُسُونَ ۖ
study
وَمَا بَلَغُوا۟
they did not attain
مِعْشَارَ
a tenth
نَكِيرِ
My response
أَعِظُكُم
I advise you
مَثْنَىٰ
pairs
وَفُرَٰدَىٰ
individuals
يَقْذِفُ
hurls
عَلَّـٰمُ
Knower
فَلَا فَوْتَ
no escape
ٱلتَّنَاوُشُ
attain/receive
وَيَقْذِفُونَ
guessing blindly/uttering conjectures
وَحِيلَ
a barrier will be placed
يَشْتَهُونَ
they desire
بِأَشْيَاعِهِم
to their kind/counterparts
شَكٍّۢ مُّرِيبٍۭ
extreme doubt
فَاطِرِ
Originator
أُو۟لِىٓ أَجْنِحَةٍۢ
having wings
مُمْسِكَ
withhold
مُرْسِلَ
release
خَـٰلِقٍ
creator
تُؤْفَكُونَ
you be deluded
تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ
deceive you
حِزْبَهُۥ
his party
زُيِّنَ
beautified/made pleasing
فَرَءَاهُ
then he sees it
فَسُقْنَـٰهُ
We drive it
ٱلنُّشُورُ
resurrection
ٱلْعِزَّةَ
honor
يَصْعَدُ
ascends
يَمْكُرُونَ
plot
يَبُورُ
perish
نُّطْفَةٍۢ
semen drop
يُعَمَّرُ
life lengthened/made to advance in age
مُّعَمَّرٍۢ
aged person
وَمَا يَسْتَوِى
not alike
عَذْبٌۭ
fresh
فُرَاتٌۭ
palatable, sweet
سَآئِغٌۭ
pleasant
مِلْحٌ
salty
أُجَاجٌۭ ۖ
bitter
طَرِيًّۭا
fresh
حِلْيَةًۭ
ornaments
وَتَسْتَخْرِجُونَ
you extract
مَوَاخِرَ
ploughing
قِطْمِيرٍ
membrane of a date seed
عَزِيزٍۢ
difficult
تَزِرُ
will bear
وَازِرَةٌۭ
soul burdened with sins
مُثْقَلَةٌ
sin burdened soul
قُرْبَىٰٓ ۗ
close relatives
تَزَكَّىٰ
purifies himself
ٱلظِّلُّ
shade
ٱلْحَرُورُ
heat
ٱلزُّبُرِ
scriptures
جُدَدٌۢ
tracts
وَغَرَابِيبُ سُودٌۭ
intensely black
لَّن تَبُورَ
will never perish/fail
يُحَلَّوْنَ
they will be adorned
أَسَاوِرَ
bracelets
وَلُؤْلُؤًۭا ۖ
pearls
حَرِيرٌۭ
silk
ٱلْحَزَنَ ۖ
sorrow
أَحَلَّنَا
settled us
ٱلْمُقَامَةِ
Eternity
نَصَبٌۭ
fatigue
لُغُوبٌۭ
weariness
يُخَفَّفُ
be lightened
يَصْطَرِخُونَ
they will scream
نُعَمِّرْكُم
We give you long life
خَلَـٰٓئِفَ
successors
مَقْتًۭا ۖ
hatred
غُرُورًا
delusion
يُمْسِكُ
keeps, hold
وَمَكْرَ ٱلسَّيِّئِ ۚ
plotting evil
يَحِيقُ
encompasses
تَحْوِيلًا
alteration
غَـٰفِلُونَ
heedless
ٱلْأَذْقَانِ
chins
مُّقْمَحُونَ
their heads are forced up
سَدًّۭا
barrier
فَأَغْشَيْنَـٰهُمْ
We covered them
وَسَوَآءٌ
it is the same
وَءَاثَـٰرَهُمْ ۚ
what they leave behind/their footprints
أَحْصَيْنَـٰهُ
We have recorded it
فَعَزَّزْنَا
We strengthened
تَطَيَّرْنَا
bad omen
لَنَرْجُمَنَّكُمْ
we will stone you
مُّسْرِفُونَ
transgressing
يَسْعَىٰ
running
