مَتَابًۭا
with repentance
ٱلزُّورَ
falsehood
يَخِرُّوا۟

يُجْزَوْنَ
be rewarded
وَيُلَقَّوْنَ

مَا يَعْبَؤُا۟
not care
دُعَآؤُكُمْ ۖ
your faith, prayer
لِزَامًۢا
inevitable (punishment)
بَـٰخِعٌۭ
grieve oneself to death
فَظَلَّتْ
bent
خَـٰضِعِينَ
humility, submission
مُحْدَثٍ
new
مُعْرِضِينَ
turn away
أَنۢبَـٰٓؤُا۟
news, consequences
أَنۢبَتْنَا
We produced
وَيَضِيقُ
narrow, straighten
وَلَا يَنطَلِقُ

ذَنۢبٌۭ
crime, charge
مُّسْتَمِعُونَ
listening
نُرَبِّكَ
raise you
وَلِيدًۭا
as a child
تَمُنُّهَا
you conferred, remind me
ٱلْمَسْجُونِينَ
those imprisoned
ثُعْبَانٌۭ
serpant
وَنَزَعَ
drew out
أَرْجِهْ
postpone him
حَـٰشِرِينَ
gatherers
مِيقَـٰتِ
appointment
مُّجْتَمِعُونَ
gathered
ٱلْغَـٰلِبِينَ
victorious, prevail
ٱلْمُقَرَّبِينَ
close, brought near
أَلْقُوا۟
throw
حِبَالَهُمْ
their ropes
وَعِصِيَّهُمْ
their staffs
تَلْقَفُ
swallowed, devoured
يَأْفِكُون
they falsified
وَلَأُصَلِّبَنَّكُمْ
i will crucify you all
لَا ضَيْرَ ۖ
no harm
مُنقَلِبُونَ
return
نَطْمَعُ
we hope
مُّتَّبَعُونَ
followed
أَسْرِ
travel by night
شِرْذِمَةٌۭ
group
لَغَآئِظُونَ
surely enraging
حَـٰذِرُونَ
forewarned, alert
وَكُنُوزٍۢ
treasures
لَمُدْرَكُونَ
be overtaken
فَٱنفَلَقَ
it parted
فِرْقٍۢ
part
كَٱلطَّوْدِ
like a mountain
وَأَزْلَفْنَا
We drew, brought near
ثَمَّ
there, that place
فَنَظَلُّ
we will remain
عَـٰكِفِينَ
devoted
سَلِيمٍۢ
sound
وَأُزْلِفَتِ
be brought near
لِلْغَاوِينَ
deviators
وَبُرِّزَتِ
be displayed, manifest
يَنتَصِرُونَ
help themselves
فَكُبْكِبُوا۟
overturned, toppled
يَخْتَصِمُونَ
disputing
نُسَوِّيكُم
we equated you
أَضَلَّنَآ
misguided us
شَـٰفِعِينَ
intercessors
صَدِيقٍ حَمِيمٍۢ
close friend
كَرَّةًۭ
return, chance
ٱلْأَرْذَلُونَ
the lowest
بِطَارِدِ
drive away, expel
ٱلْمَرْجُومِينَ
those who are stoned
ٱلْمَشْحُونِ
loaded, laden
تَبْنُونَ
you build, construct
رِيعٍ
elevation, high place
تَعْبَثُونَ
in vanity, for amusement
مَصَانِعَ
castles, strongholds
بَطَشْتُم
you seize, attack
وَعَظْتَ
you advise
بِمُعَذَّبِينَ
be punished
هَـٰهُنَآ
here
أَتُتْرَكُونَ
will you be left
وَزُرُوعٍۢ
crops
طَلْعُهَا
its spadix
هَضِيمٌۭ
soft
فَـٰرِهِينَ
skillfully
ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ
transgressors
ٱلْمُسَحَّرِينَ
bewitched
شِرْبٌۭ
turn to drink
تَمَسُّوهَا
touch her
فَعَقَرُوهَا
they hamstrung her
ٱلذُّكْرَانَ
the males
وَتَذَرُونَ
you leave
عَادُونَ
transgressing
ٱلْمُخْرَجِينَ
expelled
ٱلْقَالِينَ
detest, despise
عَجُوزًۭا
old woman
ٱلْغَـٰبِرِينَ
who remained behind
دَمَّرْنَا
We destroyed
أَوْفُوا۟
give full
ٱلْمُخْسِرِينَ
those who cause loss
وَلَا تَبْخَسُوا۟
deprive
وَٱلْجِبِلَّةَ
generations
فَأَسْقِطْ
cause to fall
ٱلظُّلَّةِ ۚ
shadow
لَتَنزِيلُ
revelation
ٱلْمُنذِرِينَ
warners
زُبُرِ
scriptures
سَلَكْنَـٰهُ
We have inserted it
بَغْتَةًۭ
suddenly
مُنظَرُونَ
reprieved, given respite
يَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
seek to hasten
يُمَتَّعُونَ
enjoyment they were given
تَنَزَّلَتْ
brought
لَمَعْزُولُونَ
barred, banished
عَشِيرَتَكَ
kindred, relatives
وَٱخْفِضْ
lower
عَصَوْكَ
they disobey you
وَتَقَلُّبَكَ
your movements
أَفَّاكٍ
liar
أَثِيمٍۢ
sinner
يُلْقُونَ ٱلسَّمْعَ
lend an ear
يَهِيمُونَ
roam
مُنقَلَبٍۢ
return
وَٱنتَصَرُوا۟
defend themselves
زَيَّنَّا
appealing
لَتُلَقَّى
receive
ءَانَسْتُ
i perceive
بِشِهَابٍۢ
torch
قَبَسٍۢ
burning
تَصْطَلُونَ
warm yourselves
نُودِىَ
he was called
بُورِكَ
Blessed
تَهْتَزُّ
moving
جَآنٌّۭ
snake
وَلَّىٰ مُدْبِرًۭا
he turned back in flight
وَلَمْ يُعَقِّبْ ۚ
didn’t look back
بَدَّلَ
substitutes
جَيْبِكَ
your collar, bosom
وَجَحَدُوا۟
they rejected
وَٱسْتَيْقَنَتْهَآ
convined
وَعُلُوًّۭا ۚ
arrogantly
فَضَّلَنَا
favoured us
وَوَرِثَ
inherited
مَنطِقَ
language
يُوزَعُونَ
they were set in rows, perfectly organised
وَادِ
valley
يَحْطِمَنَّكُمْ
crush you
فَتَبَسَّم
laughed
أَوْزِعْنِىٓ
enable me, inspire me
وَتَفَقَّدَ
inspected
ٱلْغَآئِبِينَ
absent
لَأَا۟ذْبَحَنَّهُۥٓ
i will slaughter him
أَحَطتُ
i have found out, encompassed
يَقِينٍ
certain
ٱلْخَبْءَ
hidden
فَأَلْقِهْ
deliver it
أَلَّا تَعْلُوا۟
do not exalt yourselves, be arrogant
أَفْتُونِى
advise me
قَاطِعَةً
one to decide
أَعِزَّةَ
most honorouble
أَذِلَّةًۭ ۖ
the lowest
مُرْسِلَةٌ
going to send
بِهَدِيَّةٍۢ
gifts
أَتُمِدُّونَنِ
offer me, provide me
تَفْرَحُونَ
rejoice
لَّا قِبَلَ لَهُم
they cannot resist
صَـٰغِرُونَ
fully humbled
قَبْلَ أَن يَرْتَدَّ إِلَيْكَ طَرْفُكَ ۚ
before the blink of an eye
مُسْتَقِرًّا
placed
نَكِّرُوا۟
disguise
ٱلصَّرْحَ ۖ
palace
لُجَّةًۭ
body of water
مُّمَرَّدٌۭ
made smooth, paved
قَوَارِيرَ ۗ
glass
يَخْتَصِمُونَ
quarreling
طَـٰٓئِرُكُمْ
your bad omen
ٱطَّيَّرْنَا
we consider (you a) bad omen
رَهْطٍۢ
men
تَقَاسَمُوا۟
swear to each other
لَنُبَيِّتَنَّهُ
we will attack him by night
مَهْلِكَ
destruction
خَاوِيَةًۢ
ruined
قَدَّرْنَـٰهَا
We destined her
