يَكْفِهِمْ

يُتْلَىٰ

مُّسَمًّۭى

لَمُحِيطَةٌۢ
encompass
يَغْشَىٰهُمُ
will cover them
ذُوقُوا۟
taste
وَٰسِعَةٌۭ
spacious
ذَآئِقَةُ
taste
غُرَفًۭا
lofty dwellings, elevated chambers
لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُم
house them
ٱلْعَـٰمِلِينَ
those who work
وَسَخَّرَ
subjugated
فَأَحْيَا
gives life
لَهْوٌۭ
amusement
ٱلْحَيَوَانُ ۚ
the life
وَلِيَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ ۖ
enjoy
مَثْوًۭى
abode
سُبُلَنَا ۚ
Our ways
غُلِبَتِ
been defeated
أَدْنَى
nearest
سَيَغْلِبُونَ
will triumph
بِضْعِ
3-9
يُخْلِفُ
breaks, fails
ظَـٰهِرًۭا
apparent
يَتَفَكَّرُوا۟
reflect, ponder
بِلِقَآئِ
meeting
وَأَثَارُوا۟
cultivated
وَعَمَرُوهَآ
built on it, developed
ٱلسُّوٓأَىٰٓ
evil
شُفَعَـٰٓؤُا۟
intercessors
يَتَفَرَّقُونَ
be separated
يُحْبَرُونَ
rejoicing
تُصْبِحُونَ
you reach the morning
تُمْسُونَ
you reach the evening
وَعَشِيًّۭا
night
تُظْهِرُونَ
at noon
تَنتَشِرُونَ
spreading
مَّوَدَّةًۭ
compassion
وَأَلْوَٰنِكُمْ ۚ
your colours
لِّلْعَـٰلِمِينَ
those of knowledge
ٱلْبَرْقَ
lightning
وَطَمَعًۭا
hope
يُرِيكُمُ
He shows you
قَـٰنِتُونَ
obediant
أَهْوَنُ
easier
سَوَآءٌۭ
equal
نُفَصِّلُ
We explain
فَأَقِمْ
set, direct
فِطْرَتَ
natural way
مُنِيبِينَ
turning
فَرَّقُوا۟
divide
سُلْطَـٰنًۭا
authority
يَقْنَطُونَ
despair
فَـَٔاتِ
give
لِّيَرْبُوَا۟
to increase
ٱلْمُضْعِفُونَ
multiplied
ظَهَرَ
spread, appeared
لَّا مَرَدَّ
cannot be averted
يَصَّدَّعُونَ
they will be divided
يَمْهَدُونَ
preparing
مُبَشِّرَٰتٍۢ
bearers of glad tidings
فَٱنتَقَمْنَا
We took retribution
أَجْرَمُوا۟ ۖ
committed crimes
فَتُثِيرُ
stir up
سَحَابًۭا
clouds
كِسَفًۭا
fragments
ٱلْوَدْقَ
rain
يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ
rejoice
لَمُبْلِسِينَ
in despair
ءَاثَـٰرِ
effects
مُصْفَرًّۭا
turn yellow
لَّظَلُّوا۟
continue
ضَعْفٍۢ
weakness
وَشَيْبَةًۭ ۚ
old age, white hair
يُقْسِمُ
swear
مَعْذِرَتُهُمْ
their excuses
يُسْتَعْتَبُونَ
make amends
يَطْبَعُ
seals
يُوقِنُونَ
certain in faith
يَسْتَخِفَّنَّكَ
waver, take lightly
لَهْوَ ٱلْحَدِيثِ
idle tales
هُزُوًا ۚ
in ridicule
وَلَّىٰ
he turns away
مُسْتَكْبِرًۭا
arrogantly
وَقْرًۭا ۖ
deafness
عَمَدٍۢ
pillars
تَمِيدَ
shake
زَوْجٍۢ
kind, pair
حَمِيدٌۭ
Praiseworthy
غَنِىٌّ
Self-Sufficient
يَعِظُهُۥ
advising him
وَهْنًا
weakness
وَفِصَـٰلُهُۥ
his weaning
عَامَيْنِ
two years
ٱلْمَصِيرُ
final return, destination
وَصَاحِبْهُمَا
accompany them
أَنَابَ
turns
مِثْقَالَ
weight
حَبَّةٍۢ
grain
خَرْدَلٍۢ
mustard seed
صَخْرَةٍ
rock
لَطِيفٌ
Most Subtle
عَزْمِ ٱلْأُمُورِ
matters requiring determination
تُصَعِّرْ
turn
خَدَّكَ
your cheek
تَمْشِ
walk
مَرَحًا ۖ
pridefully
مُخْتَالٍۢ
arrogant, self-conceited
فَخُورٍۢ
boastful
وَٱقْصِدْ
be moderate
وَٱغْضُضْ
lower
أَنكَرَ
ugliest
ٱلْأَصْوَٰتِ
sounds
ٱلْحَمِيرِ
donkeys
وَأَسْبَغَ
amply bestowed
ظَـٰهِرَةًۭ
apparent
وَبَاطِنَةًۭ ۗ
hidden
يُجَـٰدِلُ
disputes
ٱلسَّعِيرِ
blaze
مُحْسِنٌۭ
good-doer
ٱسْتَمْسَكَ
grasped
بِٱلْعُرْوَةِ
the handhold
ٱلْوُثْقَىٰ ۗ
firmest, most-trustworthy
يَحْزُنكَ
grieve you
نُمَتِّعُهُمْ
grant them enjoyment
نَضْطَرُّهُمْ
force them
غَلِيظٍۢ
harsh, severe
يَمُدُّهُۥ
add to it
أَبْحُرٍۢ
seas
نَفِدَتْ
exhausted
يُولِجُ
causes to enter
يَجْرِىٓ
flowing, orbiting
مَّوْجٌۭ
wave
كَٱلظُّلَلِ
like canopies/mountains
خَتَّارٍۢ
deceitful
كَفُورٍۢ
ungrateful
يَجْزِى
avail
جَازٍ
avail
تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ
deceive you
ٱلْغَرُورُ
the deceiver
ٱلْغَيْثَ
rain
ٱلْأَرْحَامِ ۖ
wombs
تَدْرِى
knows
يُدَبِّرُ
regulates
يَعْرُجُ
ascends
تَعُدُّونَ
your counting
أَحْسَنَ
perfected
نَسْلَهُۥ
his progeny/descendants
سُلَـٰلَةٍۢ
extract
مَّهِينٍۢ
humble, despised
سَوَّىٰهُ
fashioned him
يَتَوَفَّىٰكُم
take your soul
وُكِّلَ
been put in charge
نَاكِسُوا۟
hang
لَأَمْلَأَنَّ
I will surely fill
ٱلْخُلْدِ
eternity
خَرُّوا۟
fall down
تَتَجَافَىٰ
abadon, forsake
جُنُوبُهُمْ
their sides
ٱلْمَضَاجِعِ
the beds
لَّا يَسْتَوُۥنَ
not equal
ٱلْمَأْوَىٰ
refuge
نُزُلًۢا
hospitality
مُنتَقِمُونَ
take retribution
مِرْيَةٍۢ
doubt
أَئِمَّةًۭ
leaders
ٱلْقُرُونِ
generations
نَسُوقُ
drive
ٱلْأَرْضِ ٱلْجُرُزِ
barren land
زَرْعًۭا
crops
جَوْفِهِۦ ۚ
his interior
ٱلَّـٰٓـِٔى
whom
تُظَـٰهِرُونَ
do zihar, declare unlawful
أَدْعِيَآءَكُمْ
your adopted sons
أَقْسَطُ
more just
وَمَوَٰلِيكُمْ ۚ
your friends, close associates
جُنَاحٌۭ
blame
أَخْطَأْتُم
you made a mistake
تَعَمَّدَتْ
intended
مَسْطُورًۭا
written
أَسْفَلَ
below
زَاغَتِ
turned side to side
ٱلْحَنَاجِرَ
throats
ٱلظُّنُونَا۠
assumptions
وَزُلْزِلُوا۟
shaken
غُرُورًۭا
delusion
طَّآئِفَةٌۭ
party
يَثْرِبَ
Yathrib
لَا مُقَامَ
no stand
عَوْرَةٌۭ
exposed, vulnerable
فِرَارًۭا
flee
أَقْطَارِهَا
its sides
تَلَبَّثُوا۟
remained
ٱلْأَدْبَـٰرَ ۚ
the backs
مَسْـُٔولًۭا
be questioned
يُوَلُّونَ
turn
يَعْصِمُكُم
protect you
ٱلْمُعَوِّقِينَ
those who hinder
هَلُمَّ
come
ٱلْبَأْسَ
battle
أَشِحَّةً
miserly
تَدُورُ
rolling, revolving
يُغْشَىٰ
faints
سَلَقُوكُم
they slash you
حِدَادٍ
sharp
بَادُونَ
living in the desert
أُسْوَةٌ
example
نَحْبَهُۥ
his vow
بَدَّلُوا۟
alter
وَرَدَّ
drove back
يَنَالُوا۟
obtain
ظَـٰهَرُوهُم
backed/supported them
صَيَاصِيهِمْ
their fortresses
وَقَذَفَ
cast
ٱلرُّعْبَ
terror
وَتَأْسِرُونَ
you took captive
تَطَـُٔوهَا ۚ
trodden, set foot on
فَتَعَالَيْنَ
come
وَأُسَرِّحْكُنَّ
release you
يُضَـٰعَفْ
be doubled
