a rare condition char by bilateral distal polyarthritis, flexion contractures. cutaneous nodules, sclerodactylitis, thickened palmar fascia, reynaud phenomenon.

Biopsy : fibroblastic prolif w collagenous stroma varying from smooth muscle actin positive cellular fasicles to paucicellular areas w randomly arranged spindle or stellate cells.

tx: immunosupp agents typically methotrexate and oral steroid
