What is Journeys?
Branch’s smart banners that render on webpages to drive web users to install or open a mobile app. These are enabled by having the Branch web SDK on a website, which then allows marketers to build & deploy banners directly from the Branch dashboard without additional code.
What is AMP?
A web standard enforced by Google to encourage publishers to build web content that loads faster on mobile devices. This is achieved by severely restricting the level of Javascript & CSS allowed on those webpages. Publishers that build AMP-compatible web pages will have their content appear higher in organic search (identified by the little lightning bolt next to the search result). Branch has an alternate Journeys integration that is AMP compatible, however due to its restrictive rules, banner functionality on these pages are severely limited.
What is TMTA?
A web SDK feature designed specifically for desktop web UIs. This enables brands to setup forms within their pages to enable users to text Branch links to their phone to download the app or deep link to content.
What are Deepviews?
Deepviews are dynamically generated webpages that Branch programmatically builds based off the link data inside a Branch link. Deepviews are meant to present a preview of the app content you’d see in the app, if you were to download or open the app from that Branch link.
