Why does the ADF have values?

Initial Military Training: location, duration, course content? [not finished]
Location: The Army Officer Course is conducted at the Royal Military College, Duntroon located in Canberra, ACT.
Duration: Specialist Service Officers undertake up to 42 days
training.
Course content: The training is divided into three classes:
Initial Employment Training?
Prior to graduation from RMC, you’ll be appointed to one of the Army’s specialised branches, known as Corps.
Corps allocation is based on your preference, competitiveness and availability of positions.
Initially, you’ll be required to complete several weeks of in-service corps training and familiarisation. You’ll then be posted to your unit, where you will find yourself leading soldiers (potentially on operations), tactical assaults or managing any number of vital Army functions.

How many days are you required to serve in your first year?
In your first year, you can choose to serve between a minimum of 21 and up to 100 days, which includes initial Employment and Military Training.
How many days are you required to serve after completion of initial training?
You can choose to serve 20 to 100 days each year.
What is the daily rate once trained?
$203 per day tax free
What is your daily rate while training?
$257 per day tax free
