London dry gin
London Dry Gin= is the most traditional and the benchmark for quality gin. It’s usually light-bodied, highly aromatic, and very dry, with a very pronounced juniper note. No artificial flavorings or botanicals can be added after the distillation process.
Plymouth gin
Plymouth Gin In 2008, this gin received the Protected Geographical Status - PGI under EU law. This means that only gins produced in the southwest of England, in the city of Plymouth, with a minimum alcohol content of 37.5% and a dominant juniper flavor, can be called Plymouth Gin.
Genever gin

In the early 1500s juniper distillates were common as health drinks and drinks for enjoyment.

Old Tom Gin
Old Tom Gin= Old tom gin is a recent resurrection of an old style that’s historically a little sweeter (like Genever) without being as full-bodied as Genever.
Navy Strength= gin is characterized by an exceptionally high proof—57% ABV and above

The English first tasted Genever between 1618-48 when the armies of France, England and Spain fought.

London Gin does not have to be made in London but must be made in a traditional still by redistilling ethyl alcohol in the presence of the botanicals.
