Emergency information that directly affects employees in the provision of services to citizens or employee health and welfare. Examples include, but are not limited to: road closures, facility closures, weather-related emergencies, electrical failures and emergency operations.
Programs and/or services that are a direct benefit to employees. Examples include but are not limited to instructional course offerings, employee professional development opportunities or gatherings, discounted recreational, leisure or special event opportunities, employee group information, employee health and welfare programs and programs related to employee benefits.
Community service events or activities being coordinated, sponsored or organized by a department for the benefit of an external non-profit community organization.
Inappropriate Information:
Fundraising events for outside organizations that are not coordinated, sponsored or organized by a department.
Special activities or general promotion for non-city sponsored events.
