What is the significance of Jihad?

A
  • they accept that greater Jihad, as the daily struggle against temptation faced by Muslims, was considered to be more important by Muhammad
  • they believe every Muslim faces a daily battle to resist evil in the world
  • seen as an act of sacrifices. it may mean Muslims have to sacrifice their time, skills, money and even life for Allah
  • they believe there are some occasions when fighting is the right action
