Why is the Shahadah taught to children and repeated throughout the day even when they are not praying?
because submission to Allah is important and need to be aware and show it outwardly all the time - shahadah is the most simplest way of doing this and they will be awarded by Allah
why is the Shahaddah important to all Muslims?
- contains the basic beliefs of Islam, which are central to the faith (Tawhid)
- starting point of Muslim beliefs : when stated , the person shows their commitment to following Allah and submitting to Allah through their life
- reinforces beliefs in Tawhid and Risalah (six beliefs of Islam)
- all muslims believe in the shahadah, showing how they are united as an ummah - can be spoken with a group so it strengthens a person’s identiy as part of the Islamic faith
